“Since my induction into the Angelic Warfare Confraternity, I truly have to say I feel God’s grace with me at all times. I feel renewed with the Holy Spirit. I’ve always had a desire to protect my purity, but I didn’t think I could do it since we live in a crazy world where everyone tells you so many different things about sexuality. Since entering the Angelic Warfare Confraternity I’ve felt God’s strength already helping me resist sexual temptations, and I have hope that I can resist the temptations in the future because God’s grace is with me.”

“It is awesome to have the power of so many behind my efforts to remain pure in thought and action and I can honestly say that my love and devotion to my wife have been significantly strengthened… I can really feel the strength of the Lord with me. My hope is to share the Confraternity with others in hopes they will seek and become members.”

“The induction ceremony was powerful. I could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. I have since prayed the two prayers for purity every day and 15 Hail Mary’s asking for the grace of purity for myself and as well for all of the members of the confraternity. Each day that I pray for the grace of purity, I feel better equipped to go into battle against the Enemy for the sake of my purity. It has also been encouraging knowing that we are all praying for each other. Stay strong, for we can do all things through Him who gives us strength. Christ is victorious!”

“Since joining the confraternity, I have been very surprised at how the graces received have affected my life. As a recent convert to the Catholic Church, before joining the confraternity I had left mortal sin behind by God’s grace, but I was still struggling with desires for the small unchaste acts– music, movies, watching music videos, still wanting to dress immodestly for attention or having conversations that were not good for myself or the people I was talking with. Since joining I am amazed that the feeling of pressure to do these things has really gone away. Not only do I not crave to hear or see certain things now, but I have a very strong reaction against them. I feel strong and calm, knowing that they are not for me, not part of who I am or want to be, rather than feeling stressed or exhausted from knowing what the right thing to do was, but wanting to still listen to the song, wear the outfit or watch a music video on youtube. It’s such a relief. It’s also been a joy to pray for the other confraternity members, and to develop a relationship with St. Thomas Aquinas. I know he has helped me because in addition to relief from these nagging temptations, I have had an easier time knowing why I needed to not do them, or why the Church asks her children to avoid certain things. I’m so grateful for St. Thomas’ prayers, and the grace of Our Lord in our big and small struggles.”

“Joining the AWC is one of the best decisions I have ever made. When I first learned about the confraternity, I knew it was for me and I couldn’t wait to join. Because purity is so important to me, I was excited to become a part of a group of people that believed the same as I do and knew that staying strong in chastity and purity depends solely on God. After joining, I realized that not only was I receiving help from Mary and Saint Thomas Aquinas, but also, the community of AWC members prays for and helps strengthen one another through the daily prayers. The prayers recited every day are powerful, and I have seen their effects in my own life. Not only do I feel that I am stronger in my goal of staying pure in body and mind, but God has answered my prayers in other ways as well. I have received graces and help from Him in all aspects of my life, especially as a freshman in college. He has helped me adjust to the stresses and pressures of college and has helped me stand my ground when necessary. I am confident that through the AWC, I have gained graces and received extra help, especially in staying pure. I would encourage anyone to join.”

“I’m a convert.… I strongly affirm the Church’s teaching on the saints. However, I’ve often struggled to develop a relationship with them. The Confraternity has really helped my relationship with St Thomas. He’s personally looking out for me and I personally look to him. He’s someone I’ve begun to call on, including in specific situations.”
