In an interview filmed in 1982 Fr. William R. Bonniwell, O.P. (1886-1984) narrates the story of a Dominican friar who was able to learn just enough theology to be ordained, but not much more. Father Bonniwell is remembered especially for his books on the Dominican liturgy and on the life of Blessed Margaret of Castello (1287-1320). The interviewer is Fr. Antoninus Wall, O.P., a friar of the Province of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, the Western Dominican Province.
