Father William Raymond Bonniwell, O.P., 1886-1984, recalls his service on the mission band of the Dominican Province of St. Joseph in the 1930s and 1940s, and his time as an instructor at the Preaching Institute of the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C. The Prior Provincial Fr. Bonniwell refers to was The Very Rev. Terence Stephen McDermott, O.P., who served in that capacity from 1930-1955.
