Fr. Norbert Keliher is from the Seattle area, and grew up in St. Olaf Parish in Poulsbo, WA. His family lives in Indianola, a small town across the water from Seattle. He went to Harvard University for his Bachelor’s degree in the Classics, focusing on Latin and Greek composition. About his vocation he says: “I was drawn to St. Dominic’s example of compassion for sinners during his nighttime prayer vigils. It is a joy to discover how that compassion animates all the observances of Dominican life, from chanting the psalms to studying at our desks.”
