Bro. Matthias Knox, O.P.
Br. Matthias is the oldest of three children and grew up in Boca Raton, Florida attending St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He earned a BA in Mathematics and Theology from Ave Maria University in 2018 and a MS in Computer Science from Northeastern University in 2021. At Ave Maria University, he first encountered the Dominican Order, and his desire to pursue religious life grew during his three years in Boston. “It is by the grace of God that I began to desire the religious life and in thanksgiving for God’s gift I want to serve others as a priest of Jesus Christ in the way of St. Dominic for the salvation of souls.”
