Bringing St. Thomas Aquinas’ Relic to the Faithful

The Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph are blessed to be visited by the major relics of St. Thomas Aquinas at a number of our Dominican parishes and ministry sites this November and December. This extraordinary occasion is a special opportunity for the faithful to venerate one of the Church’s greatest saints and theologians.

St. Thomas Aquinas died on March 7, 1274, and was canonized on July 18, 1323. He was made a Doctor of the Church in 1567. His skull was placed in a new reliquary at the Dominican Convent of Toulouse in 2023, as the Dominican Order celebrated the 700th anniversary of the saint’s canonization in the Catholic Church.

We invite you to support the efforts of the Dominican Friars as we bring St. Thomas Aquinas’ relic to the U.S. Thank you for your generosity and may the Lord bless you abundantly! As a supporter of the Dominican Friars, you remain in our daily prayers.
