Fr. John Baptist Hoang was born in Lemoore, CA and grew up in Woodbridge, VA. The son of Hue Hoang and Hien Hoang, Fr. John Baptist attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Dale City, VA.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree in religious  studies and sociology from the University of Virginia. “It is through the Order of Preachers that I desire to live the life of perfect charity with our Lord Jesus Christ. I seek the salvation of my soul and that of others, and I have found that it is truly through God’s mercy and the mercy of my Dominican brothers that this is attained.”
