College of the Holy Cross

Fr. Ambrose Arralde was born and raised on Long Island, the son of Joseph and Noreen. He was brought up in the Catholic faith by his parents, attending the Parish of St. Aidan in Williston Park. Fr. Ambrose attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, and received his Bachelor’s in Classics. He entered the Novitiate shortly after graduating from college. “Learning about the life of St. Dominic inspired me to join the Order of Preachers, especially his burning desire that all men experience the love and mercy of God as intensely as he experienced it.”
