Prayer Requests

Can we pray for you?

As Dominican friars, we spend much of our day, indeed much of our life, in prayer—speaking with God, praising God, thanking God, adoring God, petitioning God, and offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for the salvation of the world. We pray not only for ourselves but for the needs of others. Intercessory prayer is a participation in Christ’s own prayer and in the communion of saints.

He who prays for others “looks not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others” (CCC 2635).

Help us bring clarity to a world in chaos

In 1216, Saint Dominic founded the Dominican Order to “preach the Gospel for the salvation of souls” and the Dominicans have faithfully carried out this mission for more than 800 years. Our modern world is hungry for truth, and the mission of preaching for the salvation of souls has never been more vital. God is raising up more Dominican Friars in response to this need. Today, with over 50 friars in formation, the Province of St. Joseph is one of the fastest growing men’s religious communities in the United States, and as mendicant friars we rely on your support to help us preach the saving message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Your generosity to the Dominican Friars Foundation is an investment in the future of the Church. We are deeply grateful for your partnership in our mission, and we keep you and your intentions in our daily prayers.
