Br. Innocent Marie grew up in Warsaw, a small town in the Northern Neck of Virginia, and he is the oldest of three children. Before entering the order, he earned an AB in Classics from Princeton University. He met the friars for the first time during his freshman year of college during a visit to the House of Studies. “I was struck by how religious life is a total commitment to God. The Dominican holds back nothing for himself. In his vows, he has offered everything to God. I found myself wanting to belong to Our Lord in the same way.”
