Br. Andrew Mary Lyons was born and raised in Gaffney, South Carolina with his three brothers and two sisters. He spent his first two undergraduate years at the Franciscan University of Steubenville and his final two years at the University of Notre Dame, where he met the Dominicans. After graduating with a degree in philosophy and theology, he entered novitiate in 2022. “All my friends were doing it!”
