Fr. Luke Neitzke grew up in a Navy family and is the oldest of 3 children.  He moved around his whole life, never belonging to any one parish, but instead always belonging to the Archdiocese for the Military Services.  After graduating high school he went to the United States Naval Academy and graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry.  He was in the Navy for a brief amount of time before he realized God was calling him to the priesthood.  Upon leaving the Navy he attended Franciscan University of Steubenville and earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy.  While at Franciscan he was encouraged to enter the Dominicans.  “I desire to do nothing but what God wills me to do and imitate Christ by preaching for the salvation of souls.”
