Fr. Paul Marich, O.P. hails from Youngstown, Ohio, where he first met the Dominicans at St. Dominic Parish during his high school and college years. His family still lives in the Youngstown area, and he has one older sibling. Fr. Paul received a bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from Franciscan University of Steubenville, and a master’s degree in theology from the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception. Before entering the Order, Fr. Paul taught high school social studies and theology for four years at Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School in Dumfries, Virginia. “The witness and example of the Dominicans was key in answering my call to the Order. Seeing their way of life, and getting to know the friars are what the Holy Spirit used to stir my own desires to be a preacher after the example of St. Dominic.”
