Help Us Form New Dominican Friars This Christmas
God became a baby, a tiny, helpless child, born of a woman, so that all our faults, all our weaknesses, all the wounds we’ve suffered, and all the wounds we’ve inflicted, could be forgotten, wiped away by his transforming grace.
It is our hope that God blesses you richly this Christmas, leading you to an ever-deepening appreciation of the newness he brings to our world and our lives.
Please pray for our work and for us, as well. Your prayers and your offering will help the Dominican Friars form and educate our student brothers who are preparing to announce God’s promises of salvation and new life to a hurting world.
Thank you, again, for your faithful support. We pray this Christmas season is truly one of joy and light for you and all those you love.
The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord.”
– Luke 2:10–11
Christ Was Born to Save
Nearly seven hundred years ago, Bl. Henry Suso, O.P., saw angels singing with joy at the birth of the Infant Jesus, inspiring the carol Good Christian Men, Rejoice! Today, the Dominican Friars continue this tradition, lifting their hearts in praise of the Savior and inviting the faithful to contemplate the mystery of the Incarnation. Watch the video and rejoice with us in the great gift God has given the world.
As you take part in the liturgies of the Christmas season, you join the friars in meditating on the birth of Jesus—the same Lord we receive at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Your generosity helps educate and form our student brothers who are preparing to serve the Church as priests, preaching the saving truth of Jesus Christ throughout the United States.
Please know of our gratitude for your support and of our prayers for you and your loved ones throughout this blessed Christmas season.
