Welcome to Praedicare, a magazine for the friends of the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph. The word “praedicare” comes from the Latin motto of the Dominican Order, “Laudare, Benedicere, Praedicare,” which in English is, “to praise, to bless, to preach.” To live as a Dominican friar is to preach. We hope that you are abundantly blessed by the fruits of our contemplation in the pages of Praedicare.
