Fr. Michael Donahue was born in Jamestown, North Dakota, was raised in Moorhead, Minnesota, and attended the Catholic schools in Fargo, North Dakota. He is the fourth of five children, and his family attended Nativity Parish in Fargo. He graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics. “There is a particular joy in the Dominican life that comes from living deeply the message of the Gospel and preaching that message for the salvation of souls. It is this joy and zeal that drew me to join the Order of Preachers.”
