Villanova University

Br. Samuel is from Clarksburg, West Virginia. He studied at Villanova University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. After graduation, he worked as a project engineer at a construction management company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During this time, he encountered the Dominican friars at St. Patrick’s Parish. “I met the friars at a pivotal moment in my life, and the Dominican essentials—common life, study, contemplation, and preaching for the salvation of souls—immediately captivated me. As I learned more about the Order, I became increasingly convinced that Jesus Christ was inviting me to follow him as a son of St. Dominic.”
