Giving Everything Back to God | Solemn Professions 2025

Two of our brothers, Br. Raphael Mary Arteaga, O.P. and Br. Pius Mary Henry, O.P., recently professed Solemn Vows, fully committing the whole of their lives to God through our Dominican way of life.

In his homily at the Dominican House of Studies, our Prior Provincial, Fr. Allen Moran, O.P., spoke about the radical life of faith our brothers embark on in professing Solemn Vows.

Likening St. Dominic to Abraham, the patriarch of our faith, Fr. Allen preached that St. Dominic “also abandoned all of the support mechanisms he was familiar with and set up this, our way of life, laboring for years with little success, but always trusting in the goodness of God who called him and inspired him to establish our Order.”

We thank God for these two brothers and ask for your prayers as they continue their journey as Dominican friars.
