About the Dominican Friars Foundation

The mission of the Order of Preachers, also called the Dominican Order, is to share with others the truth about the God whom we contemplate in our hearts.

The Dominican Friars Foundation is the 501(c)(3) advancement arm of the Dominican Province of Saint Joseph. The Foundation unifies the various fundraising efforts that support the Province.

With the support of the Dominican Friars Foundation and donors like you, the Friars work for the salvation of souls and the glory of God in parishes, hospitals, college campuses, and a variety of new evangelization apostolates.

Leave a Lasting Legacy

The Saint Dominic Legacy Society recognizes donors who have bequeathed gifts to the Dominican Friars in their wills. Through this giving society, the Friars gratefully honor our faithful friends and benefactors who have aligned their own legacy with the 800-year tradition of the Order of Preachers. Your support helps ensure that the mission of preaching Jesus Christ is carried out faithfully by future generations of friars.

Left-Handed Catholicism?

Today is both May Day and the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker. When Pope Pius XII instituted this feast was he just conceding to the Communists? Is there really such a big difference between the Church’s defense of  the dignity of the worker and Marx’s worker’s paradise?
Are our ideals all that different?
