Our Sunday Visitor: Dominican friars launch second annual Rosary novena

As the saying goes, “Every good thing begins in prayer,” and the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph are living this adage. The friars have announced the commencement of a 9-month novena to pray for the flourishing of their second annual Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage. The novena will start on Jan. 27 and will continue on the last Saturday of each month, culminating in a pilgrimage to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.

Last year, many faithful reported receiving special graces thanks to the novena. One woman began to pray the novena prayer daily with her husband. He returned to the practice of the faith after many years away and even accompanied her to Washington for the pilgrimage!
