800 Years of Holy Preaching

On December 22nd, 1216, Pope Honorius III issued the bull Religiosam Vitam, formally establishing Saint Dominic and his brothers as a religious order under the Rule of St. Augustine, and as an order which “should be inviolably preserved forever.”

As we celebrate our 800th anniversary today, we give thanks to God and ask for his graces and blessings that we Dominicans may be faithful to the mission given to St. Dominic.

Please join us in prayerful celebration as we commemorate this historic day, and know that your support is an essential part of our mission of “preaching the Gospel for the salvation of souls.” Thank you![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_raw_html]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[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
